Google Sheets & Excel integration

Export a Report Builder report as a CSV and open it in Google Sheets or Excel. There is no live refresh feed yet.

No credit card required · one script tag

Get SourceTrack attribution numbers into Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel by downloading a CSV from the Report Builder.

There is no live or scheduled feed today. SourceTrack does not give you a link that a spreadsheet can refresh by itself, so you export a file when you need fresh numbers.

What you can export

The CSV is the report you built in the Report Builder, with the same numbers as on screen:

  • The date range, attribution model, grouping and filters you chose.
  • The metrics you selected. A metric SourceTrack cannot compute for that report, for example ROAS with no ad cost data, is left blank and is never written as 0.
  • Internal ids are not included.

If a report hits a row limit, the file ends with a note row beginning with # that says the data is partial. Use a shorter date range to get everything.

What SourceTrack does not do

  • It does not refresh a sheet on a schedule.
  • It does not offer a private feed URL for =IMPORTDATA. The export needs you to be signed in to SourceTrack.
  • It does not push data into your spreadsheet. You download and import.

Step-by-step setup

CSV export is available on Starter and above.

Step 1: Build the report

Open Report Builder and pick the date range, attribution model, grouping and metrics.

Step 2: Download the CSV

Click CSV in the report toolbar. The file is named with the date range, for example attribution-report_2026-10-01_to_2026-10-31.csv.

Step 3: Open it in your spreadsheet

  • Google Sheets: choose File, then Import, then Upload, and select the file.
  • Excel: open the file, or use Data, then From Text/CSV.

Common problems and fixes

  • The CSV button shows a lock. CSV export needs a paid plan. Check your plan in billing.
  • A column is empty. That metric was not available for the report, for example a cost-based metric with no ad spend data. This is deliberate.
  • The last row starts with #. The report was capped. Shorten the date range and export again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I connect a sheet so it updates itself?

Not today. Export a new CSV when you need updated figures.

Does the file contain customer emails?

No. The export is an aggregated report grouped the way you chose, and it leaves out internal ids.
