Use a SourceTrack report in Google Looker Studio by exporting it as a CSV and uploading the file as a data source.
There is no native SourceTrack connector and no live feed for Looker Studio today. The data in a Looker Studio report is a snapshot of the file you uploaded.
What you can chart
Whatever you put in the Report Builder report: the metrics you select, grouped by the dimension you pick (for example channel, source, campaign or landing page), for the date range and attribution model you choose. A metric SourceTrack cannot compute for that report is left blank in the file and is never written as 0.
What SourceTrack does not do
- It does not offer a Looker Studio Community Connector.
- It does not refresh the data in Looker Studio. To update a chart, export a new CSV and replace the file.
- It does not provide a private URL that Looker Studio can read. The export needs you to be signed in to SourceTrack.
Step-by-step setup
CSV export is available on Starter and above.
Step 1: Export the report
In Report Builder, choose the date range, attribution model, grouping and metrics, then click CSV.
Step 2: Add the file in Looker Studio
- In Looker Studio, create or open a report and choose Add data.
- Choose the File Upload connector and upload the CSV.
- Check that each field has the right type (text, number, date) and add the data source.
Step 3: Build charts
Use the columns as dimensions and metrics in your charts and tables.
Common problems and fixes
- Numbers look out of date. The file is a snapshot. Export again and replace it.
- The CSV button shows a lock. CSV export needs a paid plan.
- A column is blank. That metric was not available for the report, for example cost-based metrics with no ad spend data.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Looker Studio pull SourceTrack data automatically?
Not today.
Can I blend this with other sources?
Yes, that is a Looker Studio feature. Once the CSV is a data source you can blend it with others on a shared field. SourceTrack does not do the blending.
